Getting Here

Getting here is easy no matter if you’re embarking on a road trip with your mates or you’re flying in. 

Our airport is located just 15 minutes from downtown Queenstown and it’s a hop, skip and a jump whether you’re taking the bus, catching a taxi or driving.

Getting to the ski fields is just as easy. We offer transfers to get you to and from either Coronet Peak or The Remarkables from 10th – 13th September 2025. 

You can also drive yourself up just be sure to have snow chains so you’re covered if the snow hits the roads! There are a host of car rental options available if you want to rent a car for your trip for all the freedom to explore what Queenstown has to offer!

The Gear

As for equipment, you can leave yours at home and hire skis or snowboards for when you get to town. Never skied or snowboarded before? No worries! We work with the best rental stores in the biz:

NZSki

NZSki operates the ski fields at both The Remarkables and Coronet Peak, and it’s a convenient spot to pick up your rentals once you’re up on the mountain, great for those that want to grab their gear and head straight to the slopes!

Quest

Quest Snow Centre, right in the heart of Queenstown, is the go-to spot for renting your snow gear. Great to grab your gear the night before so you’re ready to go go go early in the morning – the mountains are calling!

Snopro

Snopro takes the stress out of the rental process by delivering your rentals straight to your door all at no extra charge. Let them do the hard work, while you settle into your accommodation with a cold beer. Awesome for those that arrive after the stores close and want to get to be on the snow early the next day! 

Browns

Browns has built an epic reputation for high quality equipment and a knowledgeable team. Situated in Queenstown, perfect for those popping into town to get dinner and fitted all before their first day on the mountain!

Torpedo 7

Torpedo 7 has everything you need, especially if you’re a first timer. Let them help you get the full set up ready to tackle your lesson! Based right in town, you can get your rentals the evening before or in the morning before jumping on a mountain transfer!

Outside Sports

Outside Sports are knowledgeable and friendly with a passion for getting everyone on the snow. Located right near the bus stop to the mountains, you can get your gear set up by the awesome team and be on your way up the mountain in no time! Or collect it the night before, so you’re ready and raring to go on that first bus up!

Which mountain is right for you?

Both Coronet Peak & The Remarkables have awesome beginner friendly areas. So whichever you pick, whether it is your first time on the snow, or you’re looking to sharpen your skills, you’re bound to be a pro in no time! The full day Group Lessons will level up your skiing or riding through the guidance of experienced instructor.

Coronet Peak is just 20 minutes from Queenstown and has a relaxed, resort-style vibe with wide, rolling trails that are perfect for beginners and fun for all levels. It’s super accessible, really fun environment, and even offers night skiing throughout the season if you want to keep the fun going after sunset.

The Remarkables is about 40 minutes from Queenstown and sits higher up, with a more rugged, dramatic landscape. It also has great beginner areas, but if you’re feeling adventurous, there are steeper runs and freeride zones to explore as you get more confident.

We’ll have our Après Stages pumping from the 10th – 13th September 2025 at both Coronet Peak & The Remarkables so don’t worry whichever one you choose you won’t miss out on a moment of the action!
